Dear Members and Visitors,
Beginning the week of April 29, 2012, the Walker Memorial Library will be open with new hours. In response to reduced staffing levels and the need to improve hours open to the public the Library Board voted to change the hours open. This change has the additional benefit of keep building operating costs down by being open one less day a week. The new hours will be a year-round schedule.
Sunday April 29, 2012 – CLOSED
Monday April 30, 2012 – CLOSED
Tuesday May, 1, 2012 –OPEN 10AM-7PM
Wednesday May 2, 2012 –OPEN 9AM-5PM
Thursday May 3, 2012 – OPEN 10AM-7PM
Friday May 4, 2012 – OPEN 9AM -5PM
Saturday May 5, 2012 0 OPEN 9AM-5PM
In Summary:
Sunday and Monday – CLOSED
Tuesday and Thursday – OPEN 10AM – 7PM
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday – OPEN 9AM- 5PM
We hope that with this new schedule of some earlier morning hours, some later evening hours, some additional Saturday hours and by consolidating our staff coverage to one less day, we will be able to provide our community of users with improved access to the books, computers, programs and services they seek and deserve.
