Library Director, Karen Valley, announces grant receipt for library renovations
The Friends of Walker Memorial Library held a fundraising cocktail party on Thursday, August 2nd. Attendees donated generously to the renovation of the interior of the historic Walker Memorial Library building.
The Friends also announced at the event that they have received a $50,000 grant from the Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation. The grant, along with the other donations, is a great start to their campaign to raise $500,000.
