The Catalog
The library’s catalog is one of its best tools. It lists every single item in the library that you can check out and bring home with you, and even a few more besides! If you want to take home a book, tape, DVD or anything else the library has, this is the place to go to find it! Today’s computer catalogs allow you to search easily for what the library has, but can even search other libraries too, and even lets you have other library’s books sent to you through the Walker Memorial Library. Online Databases
Need to do a bit of research for a paper, report or school project? Are you looking for newspaper articles, quotes for a paper, or academic journal articles? Then online databases may just be the perfect tool for you. There’s a ton of information available through both Walker Memorial Library’s own database subscriptions as well as the MARVEL databases. Your library card gives you access to each, and you can learn how to to find it all by clicking the link just above!
