The Catalog
The first resource that any library has is its books, the catalog is the way to find them. Here at the Walker Memorial Library our catalog lets you do more than just find our books, it also lets you find books in over 85 libraries in the state! You can even have their books sent here for you, and all for free! But let’s not rush ahead of ourselves, let’s start with the basics.
Searching the Right Libraries 
This menu shows all the different libraries that are part of our network. The catalog starts out searching all of these libraries at the same time, but you can change it to just search what’s in the building:
If you’d like to see just what the Walker Memorial Library has right now, then click on the menu on the right. Go all the way down to where it says Walker Memorial Library. Pick this and it will search for any book here, or pick the Walker Memorial Library Children’s Collection to just find books for kids.
The very top choice is “All MINERVA Locations.” This will search -every- library in the group. You can still have the books sent to your library for free, check the “Requesting.” section to find out how!
