Article Linker
Sometimes an article in the MARVEL databases has neither of these formats, but has a button marked “Article Linker”. The article linker button will look not just in the database you picked, but -all- the other databases in MARVEL to see if it can find a full-text copy available there. A lot of the time you can find the full article right there with just a couple extra clicks. But, even if you can’t find it, hold on to that abstract and take or show it to a librarian because there’s one more way to get it!
Interlibrary Loan
And even if the article linker can’t find a copy for you, it’s still possible to get a copy from other libraries and have it sent to you. Try to keep an abstract available (Either printed, or on a computer terminal at the library), and ask a librarian if you could get a copy through Interlibrary Loan. Most articles can be obtained either as a photocopy or a digital file from other libraries around the world, and at no cost to you!
