Downloadable Audiobooks and Ebooks

Walker Memorial Library has joined together with many other Maine libraries to participate in The Maine InfoNet Download Library. The downloadable audiobook and eBook project  is supported by its member libraries. Explore the growing collection of downloadable Audiobooks eBooks and use your library card barcode to download them to your personal computer, transfer them to an MP3 player or compatible eReader device, or burn selected titles onto a CD for listening on the go.

We offer WMA, MP3 and EPUB formats. OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks are compatible with many devices including most cell phones, PDAs and MP3 players such as iPods. The WMA Audiobooks work only with PC based machines and Windows Media compatible portable players and devices. The EPUB format is compatible with many eReaders such as Nooks, Kobos and Sony Readers.
